Area information: One of the �White Villages� of the �Ruta de Toros � between Ronda and Arcos de la Frontera. Jimena can trace it roots back to the Moors, Romans and as far as the Phoenicians, the attractive town stands at the eastern end of the �Parque Natural de los Arlcornocales� which stretches from Tarifa on the Atlantic coast to Cortes de la Frontera.
