Montefrio is a pretty village where the locals are extremely friendly and set within rolling fields of olive groves. There is everything you need for day to day living in the village and the municipal pool is open mid june - september. There are a number of British families now resident in the area. Although inland Montefrio has its fair share of tourists being home to the round church, La Villa the renaissance church and the Penas de los Gitanos 40 minutes from Granada and the famous Alhambra.
