Area information:	Montefrio is a very pretty village where the locals are extremely friendly. It is set within rolling fields of olive groves. There is everything you need for day to day living in the village, many quaint small shops, 3 supermarkets, banks, chemists, many many pubs, restaurants etc. The library 6-7 minutes walk has free wi fi connection and computers. Alcala is the nearest large town about 25-30 minutes drive - nice drive for lidl, mercadona and larger shopping trips. The municipal pool is open mid june - september. There are a number of British families now resident in the area with children settled into local schools. Montefrio has its fair share of tourists being home to the round church, La Villa the renaissance church and the Penas de los Gitanos. 40 minutes from Granada with all a big city has to offer and the Sierra Nevadas for winter sking and snowboarding and the famous Alhambra. Malaga airport and the beaches are 1 hour 20 minutes drive. Pretty lakes and villages to explore are within one hours drive. The house is extremely cheap to run and when not in use can be rented out. Although ideal for permanent living, if renting this will more than cover the costs of holidays and running costs if for a holiday home. Changeovers can be arranged with a local lady who charges aroun 7 euros per hour and the house can rent for between 200 - 350 euros per week.
