Canillas de Aceituno is situated on the Eastern Costa del Sol, in the area known as the Axarquia, inland between Torre del Mar and Nerja, and about 45km from Malaga (Pablo Picasso) airport.
The airport is about 50min drive along the recently opened motorway.
The nearest large town is Torre del Mar about 25min away.
This area is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in Spain, but is within easy reach of such popular destinations as Nerja with the famous caves, the pretty White Andalucian mountain villages of Competa, Frigiliana and Torrox.
A little further afield you can easily visit Granada, Ronda, Seville, Jerez or Gibraltar.
There are dozens of golf courses within an hour’s drive, the nearest being Anoreta Golf Club and Baviera Golf Club, both being only a few minutes drive away.
