Description:
The property has been fully restored to its former glory and boasts 2 supersized bedrooms (with scope for further divisions), with both built-in and walk-in wardrobes.

A brand new family bathroom has been installed on the first floor and there is a second WC at ground level.

The newly built kitchen includes granite work surfaces and a top-of-the-range Zanussi dual fuel cooker.

There is a rear courtyard with stone sinks, washing machine connections and an enclosed WC.

The courtyard also extends to an outside sitting/dining area. Off the kitchen, an internal staircase leads to an outside terrace with views over the rooftops to olive groves beyond.

This is an impressive, larger than average 2 bedroom, link detached house of some 140 square metres and has a very wide frontage, with outside space at either side.

Outside there is the rarity of ample roadside parking.

The village of Castillo de Locubin (Castle of the Eagles) lies just 12 Kilometers from the larger town of Alcala la Real and is one of the jewels of Andalucia. Apart from the obvious olive groves, Castillo is also renowned for its cherry production and much of June is set aside for harvesting and fiestas.

Water is another important resource and the village stands at the source of the Rio San Juan. The local beauty spot is actually entitled Naciamento del Rio (birth of the river) where crystal clear water springs from under the mountainside, forming 2 natural basins before becoming the Rio San Juan. There never has been a water shortage here.

Castillo de Locubin is within the province of Jaen but occupies a unique position being very close to the borders of both Granada and Cordoba. In fact, the cities of Granada, Cordoba and Jaen are all only 45 minutes or so by car. The nearest international airport is Granada.

Both Castillo and and Alcala are Market towns. The Monday market in Castillo is smaller but occupies the beautiful little tree lined village park.
